I devoured this book in two sittings. It's hard to discuss what I loved about this book without spoilers, but suffice it to say that the things I value highly in adventure series (worldbuilding, character development, complex and compelling villains, and general badassery) can be found here, carefully crafted and in abundance.

I can't wait for the second one.
