When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi

5.0

This was an incredibly profound, moving book. I listened to the audiobook for a readers' advisory training from MPOW, but this author's story resonated with me, as he sought answers to questions that I myself have asked in the wake of my parents' deaths.

You are still teaching, guiding people, Dr. Kalanithi. May your memory be for a blessing.

Sunil Malhotra, whom I first encountered as co-narrator of Eleanor and Park, gives a bravura performance here. I would recommend anything he narrated - he's welcome to be my commute buddy and read the phonebook anytime.
