Jinx by Meg Cabot
Typical Meg Cabot. Good for a laugh and a few surprises, though the love interest was, as always, the story of a girl who refuses to believe that the boy she likes could possibly like her, and repeats over and over that she knows he likes her... as a friend. Though the reader is (again, as always) smarter than the narrator. But in general, and interesting modern take on witches and magic, done in a way that is not really the main point of the story, which was refreshing.
