I was super hyped for book 3 because of how much I enjoyed the first 2 but this just didn't do it for me. I'm all for more world building and plot development, but the places and events that happened in this book were hollow and forced. Way too much was happening, a lot of it felt "oh by the way this is a thing" and I almost DNF. I skimmed the last 3rd of the book just because Mama didn't raise a quitter.
