Beautiful Redemption by Jamie McGuire
5.0

Liis is stubborn, defiant, and yet somehow softens Thomas’s rough edges, making her the perfect agent to accompany him to the ceremony. Posing as a couple, they must travel to Travis & Abby’s beach vow renewal and give him the news, but when the pretending ends, she finds herself wondering if they were pretending at all.

Coming into this story, I knew I was about to fall in love with yet another Maddox boy. First, it was Travis & then it was Trenton. Now I have Thomas to give a piece of my heart away to. After finishing Beautiful Oblivion, I knew I was in for something good. The one thing that I absolutely love about all of these Maddox boys, including Shepley, is that when they love, they love hard & forever. It's the kind of love that every girl dreams of when they're younger. Hell, it's the kind of love they want when they're done with the immature jerks. Thomas is no different, he just has some issues of his own to work out first.

I have to admit, this book made my feelings toward Beautiful Oblivion alter slightly. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved that book, but when it comes to Trent & Cami, there were just a few things that bugged me. If you've read this, I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about but it just hurt my heart a little bit.

Liis is an absolute spitfire & I adore her to no ends. She is one of those girls you envy because you know she can handle herself no matter what the situation is or who she is dealing with. She's got that confidence that you wish you had & the balls to say what she thinks. I loved getting to see the softer sides of her because those are the truly special moments. Slights cracks in the hard exterior, letting a little light shine through.

I also loved that there was more Travis & Abby in this story, keeping the family together & giving us those characters we love so much. I loved having another side of the story line we got to see in Beautiful Disaster. It makes me so incredibly excited & anxious for A Beautiful Funeral.
