Unexpected Ending
First off, I like Miguel and Amit. They made a nice couple. Throwing a child into the mix without warning usually bothers me. Authors often do it to make the story more interesting especially if the plot is boring AF. While I still don’t like that bomb dropped in more than halfway through the book, I was surprised Miguel agreed to sign away his parental rights. That never happens in books. Never. However, it made sense in this one. Miguel did it for completely unselfish reasons and that was admirable.
