this book has such a great hook and amazing potential, especially with its vibrant setting and diversity. but for me, the plot felt a bit not really thought-through, and the pacing dragged in places. it definitely aims for a superhero-style adventure, but it misses the emotional depth and character clarity to hit hard. its an amazing read for young audiences, but might not land for those wanting richer storytelling or more layered character arcs.
