I swear, with these books and the Poppy/Cas ones, I’m reading now just to see how it ends. There’s so much going on, yet sometimes it feels as if so little actually happens. And they are such long books now for each new installment.
I still like the overall world and ideas here, but they are starting to feel progressively overwrought and at the same time like they are all saying the same thing? I’m beginning to think that I’m staying for Nektas and Reaver and the draken. They can do no wrong. Everyone else… (although Ash and Casteel are very much of the same mind when it comes to their powerful women which is fun to read).
