tbh i didn’t care that much for this book tbh. i found that january and gus were pretty boring characters in terms of personality. i wasn’t super invested in either of the things that made them different aka january’s dad drama, and gus’s family/ex wife drama cause they weren’t really that deep/interesting in my opinion. didn’t care for the present day plot either of visiting cult survivors and such. the names in this book had be laughing tho but not in the way i should have lol like janie for january, shardi, karyn and sharyn… like cmon. i also felt the characters didn’t really have a lot of chemistry that i was enjoying.
