3.75

No strong representation of diverse characters or minority identities.

Overall: 3.75-stars

It frustrated me how naive the Heroine was like she doesn't need to be a ballbusting badass warrior. But half the things she was shocked by in the alien prison, unfortunately actually happen in prisons on Earth, including in the USA. So, despite her reactions being very realistic (she's only been away from Earth for 1-week), I was frustrated by her complete lack of awareness.

It was entertaining though and I like the romance. 😊

Safety Rating: Safe

• No cheating
• No OW/OM drama
• No pushing away
• No separation

Possible Triggers: YES

• Heroine is enslaved and then imprisoned
• Murder
• Blood and gore
• Frequent threat of r@pe
• Heroine is savagely beaten
• Heroine and Hero pretend that he is r@ping her in front of his cellmates to show the warden the Heroine is the Hero's 🙄

Ending:
HEA
