The Five-Day Reunion by Mona Shroff

4.0

I really enjoyed this one! I loved Anita and Nikhil and I really liked seeing their growth and how they overcame their past struggles. I am a well-documented exes-to-lovers fan, and I think Shroff nailed this trope. The moment where the two think "fuck im still in love with you aren't i?" was glorious and I loved it. I also liked how Anita refused to do emotional labor for Nikhil and he had to be the one to figure out how he could be better. But I also like that Anita had some growing to do too. They always felt evenly matched.

I think some parts could've been more fleshed out like the weird villain that kind of came out from nowhere and I would've loved to see more of Nikhil's writing, but I get that HQs are usually on the shorter side, so there is only so much an author could do.

I am intrigued by Amar and Dviya's whole thing, so I am looking forward the next one!
