I don't even know what to say about this book. I mostly just want to lay down and scream.
Antioch is weird, obsessive, unsettling and creepy. It's an expertly crafted puzzle of a book, and as the pieces started to slot themselves together, it got harder and harder to put the book down. While reading, I was reminded of Alice Isn't Dead, everything is wrong, and off and weird. Jessica Leonard has done a fantastic job of creating an eerie sense of dread that seeps off the pages, and into the skin. I kinda want to read it again already.
Also, that ending?? I need to scream at someone about this oh my god.
