Bait and Witch
by Angela M. Sanders
This was a fun cozy. I enjoyed it.
I had a bit of trouble really connecting with main character, Josie. I found her a bit woe-is-me, and while I appreciate that she was in a difficult position, it still hit me a bit whiny. But that didn't diminish the other parts of the story that I enjoyed.
I really liked the magic aspect the author included in the story. I won't say more to avoid any spoilers, but it was fun and added a neat aspect to the story.
The supporting characters in this book were also a lot of fun. The typical cast of small town characters are here, but they were cheeky and had interesting quirks which I enjoyed.
This was just a good solid cozy story with a bit of magic. If that's your jam, this book may be a good read for you.
