sadly not what i was expecting. first half was a recount of how Aimee and fang met and the in between events that lead up to the present. the second half of the book was the present situation with the sanctuary's license revoked and it's a war zone. Nicolette takes a hit for fang and dies and in turn her mate dies as well. fang an Aimee get together and are mated. i think their romance was too stretched over the course of their relationship and the demon take-over thing threw me off a little. though the book was good i was still greatly disappointed.
