Circe by Madeline Miller
5.0

“But in a solitary life, there are moments when another soul dips near yours, as stars once a year brush the earth. Such a constellation was he to me.”

A wonderful telling of Circe’s life dealing with love, divinity vs humanity, obstacles faced as a woman and finding her place in their cruel world. The dialogue and thoughts she has are insightful and I truly admire her ability to learn from every event she experienced, without losing herself. Littered with lovely quotes, of which I’ve probably highlighted half the book, I loved this from beginning to end.
