Loved this one too. Im usually not one to enjoy the on-again off-again dynamic that kind of happened between Aren and Lara with this book and I found one part especially frustrating, but I do think it was handled well. Lara definitely needed to earn her redemption and by all counts I'd say she did. I loved the tension and all of the political fighting in this book, as Im a suckered for political fantasy. I've been told the next duology is pretty good as well and based on how much I enjoyed this one I very much look forward to reading it!!
