A Burning by Megha Majumdar
3.0

Rounded up from 2.5. A quick but not very satisfying read. I always enjoy a book being told from multiple perspectives, but in this case the characters felt loosely related and I was never fully invested in them. There are a lot of moments that should be impactful in this book, but they go by so quickly that I didn't feel their weight. I found the character of PT Sir not just unlikeable, but deeply boring. I did appreciate the representation in the book with the inclusion of Lovely's character. I also liked that the story wasn't sugar coated, which made the premise and characters seem more realistic to me.
