"God loves us because we are God's, not because we are right."

"Anger keeps us trapped both in ourselves and outside ourselves. We need to be broken out of it and connected with its underlying source, which is often our and everyone else's pain."

I need to remember how much mysticism brings life back to me. this was such a great, contemplative approach to the prophets and contrasting the modern church's approach to religion. I loved the theme of order to disorder to reorder, as well as the emphasis on how religion is less about the individual and more about the collective.
