Though A Night’s Tail was the 11th in the Magical Cats Mystery it read well as a stand alone. I personally found there where very few instances where reading the prior books would have been beneficial.
Sofie Kelly has written a fun, easy to read, and engaging cozy mystery about a librarian, her magical cats and her wonderful friends in the town of Mayfield Heights, MN. There were literally places within the story when the commentary has me laughing out loud, especially when it came to exchanges between the main character and her younger brother who just happened to be visiting her.
I really enjoyed this book. I’m sorry it took me so long to read and review, but life happens. I’d like to thank #berkleypublishing for giving me the opportunity to read this book.
