THE DRAGON KING is amazing… I couldn’t begin to put it down.  This is the 3rd book in the Death Series.  So many twists and turns.  This story oozes with lust, desire, revenge, danger, and drags you deep into its darkness, intrigue, and suspense that is all rolled up into one deliciously dark and twisted package.  This is the continuation of King Talon and Calista’s bittersweet story.  So, what actually happened to Talon’s story from the cliffhanger of book 2?  There is so much to unveil!  Well, we find out the turbulent mystery of what happened to Talon’s family, and why he does not want a committed relationship with Calista.  What will Calista do, and will she understand Talon’s reasonings?  Calista and Talon are going through so much hurt and pain.  But with Talon set on an unwavering quest for vengeance against those that hurt his family and the dragons, will he be able to convince his allies to help with his retribution.

The darkness inherited in Talon will make you afraid to turn the pages, but the sexiness of it all will assure that you do.  You will feel every ounce of pain, every slice of betrayal, secrets, lies, revenge, and it will keep you on the edge of your seat to find out what happens next.  As the secrets unfold, the masks that they hold in place slips off notwithstanding being tortured and broken—they seemed perfect for each other… until they weren’t!  Talon and Calista’s journey is a wild ride, but with Talon’s forbidden sins, revenge, and impossible situation where he makes a deal with the underworld, will Talon have to show his strength, acquiesced, or die?  What happens next?  Well, read this amazing story and find out—you won’t regret it!  With a flawless prose, Penelope Barsetti does an incredible job that is spectacular in how the story grabs you from the beginning with suspense, romance, and mystery!  If you like your fantasies that are suspenseful, with dragons, then this is a series for you!  I highly RECOMMEND this book.
