What a great comedy. Emma's matchmaking makes for perfect shenanigans. I only wish we had more scenes with Harriet Smith. In the first few chapters I really enjoyed Harriet and Emma's antics, that peak wasn't matched the rest of the book. 

And in terms of the ending, it was sad to see Harriet and Emma grow distant. The class dynamics are upsetting, but maybe Harriet is better off living in peace with her gentleman farmer without Emma's meddling.
