Content Warning: Self Harm

I really came to love Norah. Especially the fact that this story is #OwnVoices, I felt I could trust that Norah was accurately representing her conditions (though I know not everyone experiences the same thing.) There are really only three major characters in this book: Norah, Norah’s mother, and Luke. An additional character we get to know is Norah’s therapist. Even though there was such a small number of characters in this book, it was still so captivating. Each of the characters were very distinct and original, they each brought something valuable to the story. I felt with Norah on all of her highs and lows and wished the best for her the whole time.

The synopsis of the book doesn’t really discuss self harm at all, but it is something that pops up in the book and could potentially be triggering to some readers.

All in all, I really loved this story and the writing.
