This was very cartoonish and cheesy, but in a fun way. I did feel like there were a few too many characters to try to keep track of imo, and none of them especially memorable. The pacing went to pot as we started jumping around a lot towards the end; the last 100 or so pages honestly felt like they should have been the start to a second book.
Still, this was an entertaining, easy-breezy read and I intend to keep going with the series for now as I'm pretty curious to see what comes next!
