the dark sides of bookstagram have led me here and wow! i am definitely everything else than disappointed. what an amazing book! i loved the character development and the whole story, how it unfolded. of course, this one is definitely not for everyone and you should check the trigger warnings before diving in. i was well-prepared and i loved it! what was kind of annoying to me was that tiernan literally cried over every damn thing like girl, pls relax. the spicy scenes were a banger! the thing is i usually love the girl falling for the broody, mysterious, dark-haired villain, BUT noah???!!! how could she not choose him? i can't wrap my mind around it, really. i'd have chosen him 100 times. however, i'm so happy about the ending, it couldn't have been better. i absolutely recommend reading the two bonus chapters on pen's website after finishing the book (a secret will be resolved there haha). all in all, the book was amazing and when kaleb came to LA for her, built her the swing and finally talked...my heart literally melted. made him so much more likeable! i just wished we had more of his povs ro get to know him bettee but well. that's actually the reasons why it wasn't a (like i was expecting it to be) five-star-read, but close enough.
