The Flintstones Vol. 1 by Mark Russell

Things I didn’t expect to see addressed when I accidentally picked up this flintstones comic: political nepotism, the military industrial complex, infertility, the problem of evil in religion, ptsd, sex caves, gay rights, the fact that life is “a series of mutually agreed upon delusions designed to keep us from becoming ongoing accumulations of regret,” the line “we participated in a genocide, Barney.”

AND SO MUCH MORE!

This volume of comics defies the star rating system, just like Fred and Wilma defied the social mores of their own day by inventing monogamy.
