Copper for the Countess by Sally Britton

5.0

Sally does it again! I was immediately pulled into this story, and I was not surprised when I realized it is a marriage of convenience book. I adore a well-done marriage of convenience book.

I love Evelyn's grit. All the decisions she made that brought her to Arizona, were made with her daughter in mind. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty, and she quickly jumps in and helps around the ranch.

I love how Evelyn and Chris met. I think it shows a lot about the man Chris is. I think they make a great couple. The way they care for each other's children made my heart melt!

Mariah Hussey narrated this book beautifully! I am still amazed at her British accent and cowboy drawl. I look forward to more books narrated by her.

Content Warning:
-Talks of death of family members
-Children grieving the loss of their parents
*This is a clean closed-door historical romance.
