Sleeping Late on Judgement Day by Tad Williams

3.0

I love tad Williams, but this last book seemed to drag. Reading about going from place to place and dealing with various factions from heaven and hell didn't seem too important by book three. The journey got painfully long towards the end and while I liked the ending I could have done without 250 pages of the journey.

Overall, I liked his take on heaven and hell, but for some reason I was never very invested in the characters. I guess it is bobby himself. He is an angel, a hero, but kind of a dick. I guess that wore on me after three books.
