Bones to Ashes by Kathy Reichs
3.0
Tempe is faced with some old bones. This time of an early-teen individual with some unidentifiable disease. At the same time, she is thinking about a childhood friend who went missing (30 years prior). Ryan is working with some cold cases, and although he and Tempe are on the outs, they work together on those cases. Tempe’s work on a unidentified teen’s skull ties in with some of Ryan’s cases, and the cases then tie in with Tempe’s childhood friend. Seriously, although some of the science was interesting, like in the previous book I listened to (Death Du Jour), it seems unlikely that all these random events would have intersected.
