The Spanish Love Deception
by Elena Armas
This book was good.
I am a big fan of fake dating & slow-burn tropes, but I’m not a big fan of bad communication..
I feel like this book could’ve easily been as good as ‘Icebreakers’ if one of them would’ve finally admitted their feelings towards each other earlier on. The last 60 pages of the book were *chef’s kiss* ✨.
I could relate to her character and her feelings soo much that it was scary. The way she wanted to say one thing and always said something else or nothing entirely is so relatable to me! Which is also why I’m not hating on her character even tho their communication was bad. But she just couldn’t help it.
Aaron is just … I don’t know what to say. I think I’m in love. The way he talked to her when they were back in his apartment and he carried her over to the kitchen counter? *sigh*
