I much prefer this series over the other for Stunich—characters are more developed, and things play out more “realistically”—or as realistic as you can get.
The beginning was shaky…….you get thrown into the action immediately, and if you are someone like me who doesn’t like reading summaries (gives too much away), then you may be confused for a bit before it’ll all eventually click.
A lot of heavy topics are discussed pretty early on, so if you are someone who may become triggered, head the warnings and be sure to look out for your well-being.
Overall, there is a solid foundation. There is some history already with the HAVOC boys so when things progress quickly “romantically” it doesn’t come as a total surprise. Not so much insta-love but second chance-esq? As far as the other plot point—the revenge—I can get behind that, especially as the author does a great job laying out all the details and really making you empathize (not pity) the FMC.
I can’t wait to see what she does.
