I was really excited to read this book because I had already seen the movie. After reading it, I fell in love with the book and was all ready beginning to get angry about all of the discrepancies in the movie, but I must admit that the movie for this book was a fairly accurate portrayal. I was mainly enthralled by how he made the main character Kyle develop and change his opinion. Overall, I loved this modern day version of beauty and the beast, and I also quite enjoyed all of the other fairy tale references that Alex Flinn included.
