I don’t think I would have liked it much if it was a physical book but the voice actors really brought life to it.
Weirdly, I started this book to make fun of it and j ended up liking it. It was my first foray into dark romance and I wasn’t sure what I was getting into. The most traumatic thing was the FMC’s shifts as an ER nurse….and the use of the word “folds.” But the MMC was funny and the darkness, though still toxic, was painted in a better light that was more morally gray. Some of the 🌶️ scenes were hard hitting…others turned me off lol. The second half of the book was far-fetched but honestly, the whole thing gave “The End of The F***ing World” vibes if those characters were adults so, in the end I liked it!
