This book was not what I anticipated. It wasn’t my most disappointing read, but I wanted it to be better.
But I will say, having read the Parasitology series, elements of Overgrowth feel like a copy-and-paste of Parasite and its sequels. Plus, the writing got repetitive after while, but maybe that’s just how Stasia’s mind worked?
What really kept me with the story was Stasia’s dynamic with Mandy, andeventually her meeting Hunter (I wanted more of him).
At the end of the day, it could have been better, but it also could have been worse? 🤷🏼♀️
