Unnatural Creatures: Stories Selected by Neil Gaiman by Neil Gaiman

4.0

A very fine collection of short stories: it is varied so it is difficult to say what was best, in the end. There is magic and mayhem, there is love and death, there are ancient myths and modern forces. It is well balanced, even if the stories may seem all together by mere accident. That accident is called Neil Gaiman, and he doesn't bring pain and loss, only light and creativity.

p.s. it didn't really took me a whole year to read this, my problem with short stories is they finish soon and you don't get the right suspense and anticipation to get quickly through it. I read possibly 75% of the stories in the last few weeks.
