This book is beautiful and very sad, I actually loved it a lot more than I thought I would. I really enjoyed the short chapters, and the characters were loveable, it really dove into my perception of situations from different groups (and I can only imagine that will increase in the second book), and I think it did a pretty good job of summing up a coming of age for a young girl.
