Hellfire by Bobby Akart
1.0
Edit 11/25/18: I change my review to one star. This author is a jerk.
Title: Yellowstone: Hellfire
Author: Bobby Akart
Publication Date: Aug 2018
Genre: Post-apocalyptic
Score: 3/5
A journeyman effort in post-apocalyptic fiction. There weren’t any grammatical errors. The author is a… libertarian? Maybe a right-winger? There is a glowing portrayal of Trump included. It made me laugh. I guess the joke’s on me though because I finished the book (and purchased it.) The libertarian elements are noticeable but not over the top.
It’s about Yellowstone erupting. There’s a Cassandra scientist and the rugged man who carves a place out in his heart for her. It appears to be decently researched with regards to supervolcanos.
I would give this a solid 2.5/5. I would recommend it to anyone who likes the very small subgenre of supervolcano post-apocalyptic fiction.
