Just like it's title suggests, this is a sweet whirlwind romance.
Doug is on his honeymoon alone after being stood up on his wedding day. Tripp is very close to the end of his relationship, even before he boards the cruise ship, when Doug stumbles across Tripp naked outside his cabin door. A friendship and connection quickly begins to build as Tripp offers to keep Doug company for the week once he becomes single.
This was an easy read. My heart went out to Doug as he comes to terms with all that has happened and the end of a relationship that was supposed to be his future. His attraction to Tripp surprises him but he can't deny how good it makes him feel. Tripp has always had a habit of quickly falling for guys that are unsuitable but Doug ticks all of his boxes....except living in different cities and only spending a week together. No one has ever been so adorable and endearing as Doug though.
There's a lot of fun and sweetness to be had with this romance, a lot of cute nicknames are thrown around that makes them both smile. Definitely a recommended read.
