In a destroyed world a cult has taken root in the rubble. Young women forced into a caste system and brutally treated. One young woman keeps a forbidden journal and slowly begins to uncover her past and show her a way to the future. This was really good. Like punch you in the heart, and trigger an emotional collapse good. I liked the character growth, the atmosphere and the simple yet emotionally charged storyline. I will be reading more of this author.
