Welcome back to Kalista! I really enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to reading more about Pandora. I’m also really hoping we get to see Wren again, not just hear tidbits!

I think I may have actually liked this better than Fate Hollow Academy- I feel the characters have more of a diverse background and behavior towards our FMC.

Dark Magic is infesting Kalista again, and Pandora may be a key in stopping it (still holding out hope Wren will come help lol). She’s got so much to deal with, the aftermath of her upbringing and the uncertainty of her new life, but she manages to take everything in stride, to the best of her abilities. For someone who spent her entire life isolated, she handles social situations remarkably well.

After how this book ended, I’m so ready to dive in to book 2! Hopefully soon!
