99 Days
by Katie Cotugno
Molly and Patrick dated all through high school until after an argument, Molly found unexpected comfort with Patrick's brother, Gabe. Not only had this caused the demise of Molly and Patrick's relationship, but it made Molly a target for everyone. After Molly finds out that her mother dusted off the writer's block she had been experiencing and use Molly's teenage love life as her next big book, Molly feels truly alone in her town. Thankfully, Molly connects with Gabe during her last summer home before college and although Molly is grateful to be with Gabe, she can't ignore the feelings creeping back for Patrick.
This was a fun, light hearted read. I really enjoyed that the chapters were only a day long covered all 99 days of Molly's summer. To be I had a clear brother who I favored and couldn't quite understand Molly's confusing. It wasn't until the end that I was a little bit let down with some of the truths that came out and how the story ended.
