This book is a bit of a slog. The main character is basically Rapunzel from Tangled in a complicated sex slave position. There is a lot of sex slaves being petty and mean for  vest little reason and I’m not into that representation. It’s one big story of an abusive relationship with no real revelations or satisfying ending. I’m midway through the second book and it’s just more of the same sex slave nonsense and not in a fun way, just always reminding you that rape and women having no rights is always there in this kingdom. Also about 60% of the writing is just the main character examining her big emotions forever after EVERY scene and it is EXCRUCIATING. The sex scenes are not worth wading through that and I think it was only one real sex scene after the intro orgy that was not really meant to be erotic just debasing. I don’t think I can handle anymore of overly introspective Rapunzel trying to justify being in a massively abusive relationship, I really thought something would have changed by the end of this book.
