I'm really conflicted on this book. I love Dex, since book 1, and I like Fiona too. However, I didn't like this book as much as the the others and to be honest it kind of disappointed me. I didn't feel the chemistry between them as I did with the previous couples and I think there was a lack of depth. The sex was too much and I think their relationship was just developed with it and not much else.
There was a moment though, such a wonderful moment near the end of the book where in just a few paragraphs I found what I was looking for, passion. It was a moment so intense it made me cry and we saw Dex stripped of all barriers. It was beautiful and heartbreaking. Unfortunately it was shortly lived and then the story ended.
I really don't know if it was just me or if really was the feeling of the book, but I don't like it either way because I honestly love the series and specially their characters.
