I kind of felt like I was reading "A deal with the elf king" again, like the premise was so similar. This fae king who takes a mortal spouse every 75 years and whatever. Except, the interest is actually on the resistance, like, they are on the same side, why does she hate him??? There is like 0 reason for her to hate him, he quite literally saved her and her family (I don't know if that changes later but at least that's what happens from what I read). 
Also he definitely likes her from the very beginning, how is that an enemies to lovers??
