Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
4.0
It was hard to choose between 4 and 5 stars to be honest, but it just isn't up there as one of my ultimate favourite books because there were just a few niggling little things about it that bothered me slightly.
1) just how much of a shitty friend Simon actually is. Sure, he doesn't realise he's doing it, fair enough, but like... idk it just kind of bugged me, and I felt really sorry for Abby and Leah.
2) how slow Simon was figuring out that Blue is. I mean, like, the author was pretty lenient with the clues she gave us. Just saying.
And probably a few other things, too, but yeah it was really really good overall and I loved the ladies in Simon's life so much, and Blue is such a sweetheart.
