This book was…fine. The trope is good enough and some of the plot points and twists were interesting, but the writing was bland and SO so repetitive. I felt like I was reading the same paragraphs of “inner turmoil” from Raven and the same speech from Area 20 times.
I think it had potential but it wasn’t for me. I’ve read the first few chapters of the next book and it seems more of the same. I was hoping for another Magnolia Parks, unfortunately I was disappointed.
