1st read: one of the best books i've read in a long time!!!!!
2nd read: this book still holds up for me, 3.5 years after reading it the first time. What she says about justice, love, queer communities and trans womanhood are just so good!! like transformative justice requires us to have entirely different relationships with each other where we ask each other hard questions and speak up when we something happening. The essay "Where Did She Go?" is one I think about all the time. I can not recommend enough!
