Murder in the Dollhouse: The Jennifer Dulos Story
by Rich Cohen
challenging
dark
mysterious
sad
medium-paced
Written in the same style as Capote's In Cold Blood, Murder in the Dollhouse provides the most comprehensive view of both our victim, Jennifer Farber Dulos, and her murderer, her husband. I'll never be convinced that someone other than Fotis murdered her. Cohen does point fingers at almost anyone in the book; Jennifer's dominant father, her fantasy with finding a husband in the most romantic way, her wealth, the Connecticut civil court and divorce system, divorce lawyers, Connecticut State Police and investigators, Fotis & his accomplices; But I think it's warranted. Each one of these "co-conspirators" ultimately played a part in her fate. This book truly is a cautionary tale and my hope is that readers who are in a similar situation can recognize some of these psychopathic traits that may be in their partner, and use them to set themselves free.
