Keep Moving: Notes on Loss, Creativity, and Change by Maggie Smith

2.0

I really love the random collection of Smith’s poems I’ve read so I was hoping to love this book, too. While it certainly has beautiful phrasing, I found it too impersonal overall to be meaningful. Much of this book is affirmations that, while lovely, ultimately feel like a well-intentioned person delivering advice rather than telling you a story.
