I liked this! I enjoyed getting to know all the characters and their flaws and such. I have such close friendships, but I will say it sounded a lot like Bridget and Lucy should’ve been dating lol. The way Lucy talked about her is how I believe a couple would speak about each other. Another thing is I wish we got to know Felix a bit better, we really only saw Lucy and Bridget’s flaws. I enjoyed that Lucy was close with her aunt and not her immediate family but we saw a contrast with Bridget and Felix’s family. I absolutely LOVED that this did not end in marriage and babies , that’s is just not the reality for most people these days. I don’t know if I will read this one again, maybe in a few years. I enjoyed this MUCH more than Meet Me at the Lake, but still not as good as Every Summer After, closer to One Golden Summer. I am sad that I had finished all of Carley’s books, but I am looking forward to whatever she comes out with next.
ALSO the way Carley uses breaks and the fact this was three different parts is so odd to me. Someone will do something, break, and then they’ll pick up off with what they were doing before. Idk if she needs all the breaks and the different parts didn’t really signify anything TO ME.
