Sweet Collide: The brand new ice hockey sports romance from the USA Today bestselling author by Ava Harrison
4.0
one of the sweetest romances I’ve read, this book is full of love, trauma healing, understanding and passion.
cassidy and aiden don’t come from riches. they’ve had a hard past, dealing with poverty, substance-using parents, a trailer park, and fighting for survival every day. when cassidy gives aiden the help he needs to get out, she believes he’ll come back for her. but when it seems like he doesn’t, the years pass by and she’s left in the dark to find her way out. fast forward to them being adults now, cassidy finds aiden and makes her way back to him to give him a piece of her mind. but what she doesn’t expect is playing the role of his girlfriend while working for him to keep him grounded through his anxiety and ocd. of course the truth comes out about who she really is, and the question now is if he will forgive her for lying. can he look last her not telling him who she really is and their strong bonded friendship?
this book def has some harder topics to read through, but absolutely worth it.
tropes - second chance romance, found family, mental health representation, rags to riches, fake dating
